I've found the key to happiness!

Simply Sassy will be doing boudoir mini sessions the last week of January for any women out there that are interested in a special gift for their significant other for Valentine's Day this year. To sweeten the deal, I've hired Simply Juicy Creations by JJ to set up a sexy, simple, sassy candy buffet! If you haven't seen her work before, you have to trust me: it is irresistible! I'm personally a Chocolate kind of gal, but the variety and beauty of her creations has me dippin' into all sorts of treats.

Best Friends

I've known these two wonderful women for years, but I did not realize how close they were to each other until the day of our Best Friends Boudoir Shoot.

Over a bottle of wine, these two beautiful woman took turns showing off their sexy side for the camera. I could tell by the way they spoke to each other that their friendship and trust in each other runs deep. They spoke candidly about family and relationships, clothing and dating. But mostly, we laughed. And laughed and laughed and laughed.

I hired the amazing Jessica to get the gals ready for their shoot. And after, those beautiful ladies hit the town with their flawless make up and their newly rejuvenated confidence.

Lattes, Laughs, and Lasting Friendships

I had the privilege of shooting an old friend today. (We aren't "old", of course...we've just been friends for many years...there IS a difference!) She and I went to middle school together and maintained our friendship over the years. After college, we lost contact for a bit, but when we reconnected I found that she underwent a major transformation. Now married with beautiful children, she continues to take care of herself, work hard, and share her caring soul with others.

She joined me in my studio to take some pictures for her husband of 11 years. What a neat surprise for him! Over lattes, we laughed and reminisced about "the good ol' days." we also went ahead and made plans for all of our friends to get their pictures done too. I mean, why not? It's just so much fun!

Thank you so much for allowing me to shoot your "after" pictures. You are such a beautiful person and it was so much fun to spend quality time with you.

A week off to relax and be with family and friends.

I am truly thankful for the wonderful friends and family I have. It is amazing how much is taken for granted, but during this recent shoot, I was reminded that there are so many things to be thankful for. Good friends and strong relationships are definitely things that are hard to come by. I hope that I can give back as much as I take.

During the shoot, she spoke candidly about her family...A husband (celebrating there 12 year anniversary this month!) and 2 children that she simply adores. What a privledge for me to get a glimpse into her world of strong family bonds, an intimate relationship with faith, and a community of close caring friends and family. She came over to do a boudoir shoot for her husband's birthday present... I don't think was disappointed with the end result! We had a great time hanging out and she is a really sweet, down to earth girl. The best part about it all is that she is so confident and sure of herself. We just love confident women! Last night, we had an opportunity to celebrate with Jenni and Newton as they officially opened their business Spallon with the theme LOVE YOURSELF. As special guests for the evening, Simply Sassy Images offered a special package deal, as well as raffled off a $100.00 print credit to one lucky gal!

Jenni and Newton, and the rest of the girls at Spallon did an amazing job. They offered free paraffin wax, haircuts, styling, mini make up sessions, hair extensions and so much more. We both had opportunities to meet many new friends and try some amazing products for skin and hair.

A print or product credit is included in all packages. Product credits can be used towards any products we offer or enlargements. All prints are processed on extremely high quality ENDURA Kodak paper at a professional processing lab. Processing time is approximately 2 weeks after you've selected your favorites.

All packages include an on location photo shoot, editing and airbrushing, your own private secure image gallery, a print (or product credit) and your own Simply Sassy baby tee. Packages begin at $300.

Thank you to the Bloody Mary girls (well, actually only two of us drank...the other was too young!) This session was so inspiring for me as the photographer... you are so confident and beautiful, inside and out. If I had to pick my three favorite moments, they would be: 1) the part where we give a tutorial on how to mix drinks correctly, 2) Picking out what we think he will like most, and 3) hearing the story of how she was pulled over and booked for DUI. 1,2,1,2,1,2,...

Thank you to the mimosa ladies for a very memorable morning boudoir session. Between the make up touch ups, the waredrobe changes, and the very "sassy" converstaion (about HMS, mexicomas, and the truth behind what music can really do) it was great fun. Next time, we need to remember to keep the heels off the dollomar mat... that's not my rule, that's his.
